The food chain	Poor Shows little or no knowledge of what a food chain is or how it works.	Fair Shows some understanding of how a food chain works, and is demonstrated by the way they created it.	Good Shows knowledge of what a food chain is and how it works. This is demonstrated by the food chain they created.
The members of the food chain	Poor are not relevant to each other and the food chain is not correct.	Fair are related to one another but some of the members are missing.	Good are related to one another and all members are represented.They is a clear flow from member to member.
The presentation	Poor is not clear, and/or messy. There are major gaps in information.	Fair flows well, and can be understood. It contains minor gaps in information.	Good flows well, and it can be clearly understood. It is easy to read, and there are no gaps in information.
The student	Poor has not demonstrated an understanding of what a food chain is or how it works.	Fair has demonstrated a moderate understanding of what a food chain is and how it works. The student can explain and answer most questions about the poster.	Good has demonstrated a good understanding of what a food chain is and how it functions with all the members playing their parts.
