Job Portfolio 
This rubric will outline the job portfolio project for EDUC 210. The rubric will reflect what is being asked of the student and how well the student completes the project. Guidelines are represented clearly within the rubric to eliminate any questions that may develop after the project has been graded.

Reflections are marginally written with some mistakes. Evident that not too much thought was put into reflections.
Meets Expectations

Reflections are written well and informative. Explains reasoning for why artifacts were chosen but does not go into enough depth. Few grammatical errors.
Exceptional

Reflections are written well with no errors and provides in-depth reasoning as to why each artifact was chosen.
Personal Philosophy

Unacceptable

No teaching philosophy was evident.
Marginal (Passing)

Philosophy is vague but effort was put forth in attempts to offer insight as to concepts/principles that represent their teaching.
Meets Expectations

Philosophy is well written with clear desciption of concepts/principles related to their personal style of teaching.
Exceptional

Philosophy clearly shows reader the author's style of teaching. Concepts/principles are clearly illustrated in the philosophy for the reader to easily understand.
Content

Unacceptable

Portfolio is boring with no creativity.
Marginal (Passing)

Portfolio shows little creativity but gets the job done.
Meets Expectations

Portfolio is colorful with pictures and creativity evident. Put together nicely for reader's/future employers to view.
Exceptional

Portfolio is put together nicely and user friendly. Links are provided and colors added to make portfolio appealing. Portfolio does not go over board, but does include what needs to be included to illustrate the author's work and personality.
