All About me Word Document Rubric PowerPoint Presentation Rubric This rubric is to be used to mark students work after completing an All about Me document showcasing all their computing skills. Grading Rubric
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Font/text	Excellent Use of fonts, size and colour done effectively and clearly. Text includes various elements such as underlining, bold and italics.	Good Most of the font used is appropriate to the content of the text. Some attempt to use bold, underline or font size change.	Fair Only one or two lines of the text has had its font changed using only one or two elements.	Poor Minimal amount of text is used. Use of standard font only showing no attempt to change the font.
Presentation/Images	Excellent Project is presented in an attractive manner. Images/clip art have been inserted and layed out well in the project. Use of borders and backgrounds clearly evident.	Good Student has tried to make the project attractive. Several images have been inserted. Some attempt to use presentation elements evident.	Fair Only one image is inserted and placed. Minimal presentation elements used.	Poor No images present. No attempt to make the document attractive in any way.
Spelling Accuracy	Excellent All words spelled correctly throughout the whole document.	Good Less then 3 words are spelled incorrectly.	Fair Only a few words spelled correctly.	Poor There are many words spelled incorrectly in the project.
Saving	Excellent Project was saved correctly in the appropriate drive. Student is able to retrieve project independently from the drive and show others how to do it.	Good Project was saved in the appropriate drive but student was unable to retrieve the project independently.	Fair Project was saved independently by the student but not in the appropriate drive.	Poor Project was not saved in the appropriate drive. Student required teacher assistance to save their work
Use of Class Time	Excellent Used time well during each lesson. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.	Good Used time well during each class lesson. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.	Fair Used some of the class time well during each class lesson. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.	Poor Did not use class time to focus on the project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
