Comprehension	Poor Student has very little understanding about the topic.	Fair Student somewhat understands the topic.	Good Student clearly understands the topic and it is evident in their cartoon.
Content	Poor Student made up the cartoon without any factual basis and/or no reasons presented.	Fair Student used opinions or feelings rather than actual information for the basis of their cartoon. Only 1 reason is presented.	Good Student used actual information from lesson to represent three reasons for the revolution.
Originality	Poor Uses other people's ideas (giving them credit), but there is little evidence of original thinking.	Fair Product shows some original thought. Work shows new ideas and insights.	Good Product shows a large amount of original thought. Ideas are creative and inventive.
