Fingerwaves	Excellent Hair is properly geled and 3 rows ofevenly sculpted fingerwaves are completed.	Good Some gel added 3 rows of slightly uneven finger waves are completed.	Fair Too much gel is used and 2 rows of uneven waves are created	Unacceptable Too much gel with uneven waves that do not resemble fingerwaves.
Blow Drying	Excellent Hair is evenly parted and blowdrying is done in a smooth manner so cuticle is flat and shiney.	Good Hair is evenly parted but drying is not real smooth resulting in a slight frizz to the hair.	Fair Uneven partings but hair is dried in an acceptable manner.	Unacceptable Hair is not parted properly and blowdry results in a frizzy have dried technique
Roller Placement	Excellent Student has rollers perfectly placed in sub-section on a 45 degree angle.	Good Student has rollers placed slightly off base of sub-section.	Fair Student has several rollers partially misplaced from base.	Unacceptable Rollers keep falling out because of improper clipping. Sections are poorly parted.
Pincurls	Excellent All partings are done in a neat and straight manner. Proper clips are used and gel was used to secure pincurl	Good Most partings are neat and some hair is not straight within the partings. Gel used.	Fair Several clips are misplaced but partings are acceptable. Gel placed in the hair but too much was used.	Unacceptable Pincurls are falling out because of improper partings. No gel placed in the hair and wrong clips are used.
Perm Rods	Excellent End wraps are used properly and rods are perfectly placed and all partings are straight. Proper end wrap technique was used.ptable.	Good Most perm rods are neat and some of the hair is loose because the tension is compromised.	Fair Several rods are misplaced but partings are acceptable. End wraps are acceptable.	Unacceptable Perm rods are falling out due to improper tension. Wrong wrapping technique. Wrapping method was unacceptable.
Shaving	Excellent Concepts followed no mistakes in the prep, 12 steps and in final stages of shave.	Good Student followed all concepts but missed one step	Fair Student failed to properly prep manikin but performed the shave without mistakes	Unacceptable Student did not apply shave cream correctly covering all the steps and missed shaving steps
