Black History Project 
There are several African American mathematicians that have contributed to this exciting field and have overcome many obstacles to achieve their accomplishments. Your assignment is to research one out of the many famous African American mathematicians. You will write a research paper and create a poster. The paper should be 1-2 pages typed, double space, font size (12). The poster should include pictures of the mathematician, any math operations or symbols the mathematician studied and you can be as creative as you like.
