iRubric: Diversity project/celebrations rubric

Student does not speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard by the audience. Student must look at notes in order to give any information. Student is unable to answer any questions asked by the audience.

When reminded (one time), Student speaks clearly and loudly enough to be heard by the audience. Student is able to give 2 pieces of information without looking at notes. Student is able to answer some of the questions asked by the audience.

Student speaks loudly and clearly enough to be heard by the audience (without reminders). Student only has to occasionally glance at notes/poster to give information. Student is able to answer all of the questions asked by the audience.

Student did not:
- reread/check recipe as they cooked
-get out all ingredients before starting
- practice demonstrated techniques for food preparation
- follow safety rules (equpment/safe food handling)
-clean up any dishes, did not clean tables/counters well
- work without prodding

Student:
-did not reread recipe
- got out some of ingredients before starting
- used some of the demonstrated food preparation techniques
-tried to use equpment safely but did not always follow safety rules.
-needed reminders to use safe food handling procedures
-cleaned up some dishes/washed some tables/counter well
-quit before all tasks were completed, complained while working

Student:
-reread/checked recipe while cooking
-got out all ingredients before starting
-used all of the demonstrated food preparation techniques
-used all equipment safely and followed safety rules at all times
-used safe food handling procedures
-cleaned up complete area (dishes, counters, tables etc.)
-demonstrated willingness to complete all tasks(including clean up), worked steadily
