Stays on Task	Poor Student needs to be reminded more than twice to stay on task. Is not helping others.	Fair Student needs 2 reminders to stay on task. Helps others once or twice.	Good Student needs a reminder to stay on task. Helps others sometimes.	Excellent Students begin work on task. Students stays on task entire work time and helps the other group members stay focused. When finished, student works on appropriate work.
Follows directions	Poor Student needs more than 3 reminders about appropriate behavior. Needs more than 2 directions to be repeated once the group has started.	Fair Student needs 2 reminders about behavior. Needs 2 directions repeated.	Good Student needs a reminder about behavior. Student asks to have a direction repeated once the group has started.	Excellent Student listens to directions carefully and sets a good example. They need no reminders concerning class behavior.
