Time line	Poor One event, character, and setting is depicted on the timeline.	Fair Two or three events, characters, and settings are depicted on the timeline.	Good Four or five events, characters, and settings are depicted on the timeline.	Great Six or more events, characters, and settings are depicted on the timeline. The climax of the story is included.
Conventions	Poor More than 7 errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation or capitalization.	Fair Between 4-6 errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation or capitalization.	Good Between 1-3 errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation or capitalization.	Great No errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation or capitalization.
Punctuality	Poor Submitted more than two days or more late.	Fair Submitted two days late.	Good Submitted one day late.	Great Submitted on or before the date due.
