Capitalization/Punctuation	Poor Rarely uses capital letters or punctuation correctly. More than 5 errors.	Fair Usually uses capital letters and punctuation correctly. 1-4 errors.	Good Always uses capital letters and punctuation correctly. No errors.
Topic	Poor The same ideas are repeated, and off topic.	Fair Good ideas are expressed and on topic most of the time.	Good Good ideas are given and sticks to topic.
Spelling	Poor Large number of spelling errors, hard to read and understand.	Fair Several spelling errors, but able to read and understand.	Good No spelling errors able to understand.
Presentation	Poor Sentences do not follow the margins and the writing is messy, Hard to read and understand.	Fair Sentences follow the margins, and writing is messy. Able to read and understand.	Good Sentences written within margins, and able to understand.
