Clarity	Good Picture is in focus.	Fair Picture is somewhat in focus.	Poor Picture is not in focus or is pixelated.
Composition	Good Subject of the picture is obvious and is identified in the cutline.	Fair Subject of the picture is somewhat obvious and the cutline identifies only some of the students.	Poor Subject of the picture is not obvious and is not clearly identified in the cutline.
Timing	Good Picture is a candid photo or posed photo, not taken from Google image search, and adds to the story.	Fair Picture is candid but does not add to the story.	Poor Picture is taken from Google image search.
Color/Contrast	Good Black and white photos have good contrast and color photos have good color saturation.	Fair Black and white photos have been convereted to the gray scale but do not have proper contrast.	Poor Photo is too dark or too light.
Cropping/Resolution	Good Picture is cropped and uses the correct resolution for print or web publishing.	Fair Picture is cropped, however there is too much space (or not enough space)around subject.	Poor Photo does not properly fit into frame/photo box.
