Vocal Expression	Poor Expression never changes.	Fair Expression sometimes changes.	Good Expression is interesting and understandable.	Excellent Expression varies and enhances the character/situation.
Pronunciation	Poor Words are not understandable.	Fair Some words are understandable.	Good The majority of words are understandable.	Excellent All words are clearly pronounced and the presentation is easily understood.
Volume	Poor Voice cannot be heard.	Fair Volume is too soft. Voice can be heard at times.	Good Volume is average. Voice can be heard most of the time	Excellent Volume is loud enough for all audience members to hear.
Movement	Poor No movement. (Standing/sitting in one place.)(Unless needed for character development)	Fair Limited or irrelevant movement.	Good Inconsistant movements, confusing to audience.	Excellent Believable movements that enhance character development.

Sound Effects	Poor Performance has no sound effects.	Fair Peformance has a few sound effects, but they do not add to the performance.	Good Performance has the required sound effects and they fit well with the script.	Excellent Performance has the required sound effects and they enhance the overall performance. The sound effects help to draw in the audience.
Accuracy	Poor The folk tale the play is based on is not recognizable.	Fair The folk tale is recognizable, archetypes or important plot elements or characters are missing.
