	Fair 5 pts	Good 7 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Design/Idea	Fair Drawing is copied and nothing was changed.	Good Drawing shows a copy of their artist's work. Student did not change anything or put their original work into the design.	Excellent Drawing shows a design that is similar to their artist's style. It either shows a very similar style or the student chose to work with an original from the artist and change certain parts to make it their own.
Value/Color	Fair Little value was added.	Good Some value variations are shown in the final drawing. More detail and shading could have been worked on.	Excellent Value was done correctly with care. The student added highlights and shadows with the color of their choice for the project.
Space & proportion	Fair Student did not use up the space on the paper, drawing is very small and the proportions don't match up to the student's idea.	Good Some blank spaces appear on the drawing paper. Some areas look rushed and not proportioned correctly to the student's original idea.	Excellent Drawing uses up all the space on the paper. The proportions are drawn correctly compared to the student's idea.
Craftsmanship	Fair Eraser marks appear along the finished drawing along with wrinkles or tear. The grid is showing in many areas.	Good The work is mostly clean, a few marks or smudges are visible on the finished drawing. The grid appears in a few spots of the drawing.	Excellent The finished drawing is clean, neat, and doesn't contain any marks or rips.
Time/Effort	Fair Did not stay on task and use time in class wisely. The finished drawing could have used more time and care.	Good Had some problems with staying on task and using time in class wisely. Needed a little more time put into the final drawing.	Excellent Stayed on task and used time in class wisely. Student put a lot of time into the drawing.
