Appearance and Visual appeal Graph is constructed neatly, points are evident and neatly plotted, and joined neatly by a line of best fit.	1 All criteria are not done neatly and this distracts from the overall appearance of the graph.	2 Two components of the criteria could have been done more neatly.	3 One component of the criteria could have been done more neatly.	4 All criteria are done neatly, creating a smooth and very recognizable picture.
Graph and Plotted Points The graph is constructed according to instructions, points are evident and correctly plotted. The best fit line intersects with the y-axis.	1 Student made 7 or more errors in the graph, plotting and/or connection of the points.	2 Student made 4 or more errors in the graph, plotting and/or connection of the points.	3 Student made 1-2 small errors in the graph, plotting and/or connection of the points.	4 Student had no graph, plotting or connection errors evident.
Solving expressions The linear expression follows the correct sequence for solving equations with one or two terms	1 Student had no t-chart or had one but had many computational errors solving for x and y coordinates	2 Student completed parts of the t-chart correctly.
