Life Skills Science Experiment
	Keep Working 10 pts	Almost There 10.5 pts	You Rock 11 pts
Makes Hypothesis	Keep Working Student unwilling to make hypothesis. Student guess is random and/or unrelated.	Almost There Student makes the hypothesis, but with multiple prompting/coaching. Student very hesitant to make hypothesis and/or share hypothesis.	You Rock Student makes a relevant hypothesis, willingly, and shares appropriately.
Participates in Vocabulary	Keep Working Student unwilling to participate in vocabulary exercises, or does own thing	Almost There Student participates, but may not be accurate with vocabulary	You Rock Student participates and display good understanding of lesson vocabulary.
Completes Experiment	Keep Working Student unwilling to experiment without hand over hand assistance, or is unsafe during the experiment, and/or does not follow the steps of the experiment.	Almost There Student experiments with moderate assistance (as appropriate to need level), and attempts to follow at least 2 steps of the experiment.	You Rock Student actively participates in completing the steps in the experiment (some assistance as needed).
Conclusion	Keep Working Student does not want to make a conclusion about hypothesis, or becomes distraught over incorrect hypothesis	Almost There Student makes a conclusion about hypothesis being correct or incorrect, but does not go any deeper, and/or is not accepting of a wrong hypothesis.	You Rock Student makes a conclusion about the hypothesis, and willing accepts what the experiment proved or disproved.
