Description	Expert Describes all physical traits of the character in clear, concise sentences.	Proficient Describes all physical traits of the character, however the description is unclear.	Practice Not all physical traits are described.	Approaching Physical traits are not accurate or clear.
Feelilngs	Expert Describes characters feelings as they change in the story with evidence from the literature.	Proficient Describes characters feelings for part of the story with some evidence.	Practice Very few feelings are included without evidence.	Approaching Characters feelings are not addressed
Behavior	Expert Characters behavior is accurately described within the events of the story.	Proficient Characters behavior is described without inclusion of events.	Practice Some behaviors are described without including the events.	Approaching Behaviors are listed with out any description
