Skipping

Aerobic Excersise
A locomotor skill which combines a hop and a step (walk or run).
The rhythm is uneven

Jumping

Sideways movement where the lead foot moves and is followed by the other foot.

Movement resembles gallop or feet cross.

Movement is sideways but feet sometimes cross.

Consistent sideways movement with either foot leading and feet do not cross.
Leaping

To spring or bound upward from one foot and landing on the opposite foot.

Little to no balance on one foot on take off or on opposite foot when landing. Lack of balance landing on one foot or lands on both feet.

Ability to balance and take off on one foot while landing on opposite foot with some balance.
