Scene is moderately memorized. Occasional adlibs. Only needs occasional prompting.
Very Strong

Scene is memorized, but not word for word. Some paraphrasing
Excellent

Scene is memorized. Text holds to what is written. No prompting
Focus

Poor

No Commitment to focus. Laughing and breaking character throughout. Never moved beyond the self and into character.
Fair

Some attempt at focus. More laughing and breaking character than staying in character. More often being the self than being the character.
Good

Attempt to execute focus in a broad sense. Some laughing and breaking character. As much being the self as being the character.
Very Strong

Strong attempt at executing focus. Very little laughing and breaking character. More often being the character than the self.
Excellent

Absolute focus. Never laughing or otherwise breaking character. Fully committed to character and never seeing the self.
Objectives/intention

Poor

Objectives are non-existent
Fair

Only a general idea of objectives
Good

Objective recognition but does not follow through into tactics or does not have appropriate obstacles to react against.
Very Strong

Full understanding of objective/obstacle/tactic, but may not follow through clearly all the time
Excellent

Successfully identified objectives/obstacles/tactics and was able to play them skillfully.
Naturalism/Believability

Poor

Unable to bring a level of honesty and truthfulness to characterization. Character seems more like a sketch character rather than someone you would meet in real life.
Fair

Character is believable but inconsistent. Character seems more natural than a sketch character but still played for laughs rather than truth.
Good

Demonstrates the character in this situation fairly consistently. Character seems mostly natural but still a little silly.
Very Strong

Clearly demonstrated a naturalistic character in this situation and throughout the scene. Character is almost completely naturalistic but not quite.
Excellent

Expertly demonstrates a naturalistic character in this situation. Level of investment in character conveys honesty and truth.
Voice/Resonators/Articulation

Poor

Mr. Tyne-Zimmerman could not understand any of the words that were said.
Fair

Mr. Tyne-Zimmerman could understand some of the words that were said, but the actor employed very little resonating or articulation to carry the voice.
Good

Strives to use some aspect of resonating and articulation, but Mr. Tyne-Zimmerman still had trouble hearing the words that were said.
Very Strong

Very strong demonstration of resonating and articulation. Mr. Tyne-Zimmerman could understand every word, but probably only because he is familiar with the script.
Excellent

Expertly demonstrates resonating and articulation. Mr. Tyne-Zimmerman could understand every word and is confident that an audience unfamiliar with the script would as well.
