Finding Perimeter Finding Perimeter & Identifing Polygons Students were given polygons to find the perimeter of each. Students were required to use correct units for each. Rubric Code: CXWWAA4 By teachersmith Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Assignment Grade Levels: 6-8

	Below Standard 0 pts	Approaching Standard 1 pts	Meeting Standard 2 pts	Exceeding Standard 3 pts
Perimeter	Below Standard Student was unable to find any of the polygon's perimeters correctly. Student did not use correct units..	Approaching Standard Student was able to find only one polygon's perimeter correctly. Student may or may not have used correct units.	Meeting Standard Student was able to find two of the polygon's perimeters correctly. Student may or may not have used correct units. (Student may also have gotten all perimeters, but was unable to use correct units)..	Exceeding Standard Student was able to find the perimeter for each polygon and used the correct units for each.
Computation Skills	Below Standard Students made 5 or more computation errors when calculating perimeter.	Approaching Standard Students made 3-4 computation errors when calculating perimeter.	Meeting Standard Students made 1-2 computation errors when calculating perimeter.	Exceeding Standard Students made no computation errors when calculating perimeter.
