Final Product / Technique	Level 1 The final product demonstrates limited effort and bares little resemblance to the original artwork.	Level 2 The final product demonstrates some effort and bares some resemblance to the original artwork.	Level 3 The final product demonstrates considerable effort and is a good reproduction of the original artwork.
Participation	Level 1 The student does not regularly stay on task and participate in the project. Class time is often not used productively.	Level 2 The student has a hard time staying on task but does participate in the project. Class time is sometimes used productively.	Level 3 The student fully participates in the project. Class time is always used productively.
Written Component	Level 1 The student does not do the written assignment or it is largely incomplete or in English.	Level 2 The student attempts to do the written assignment but some questions have not been answered and/or some answers have been given in English. Some answers are well developed and show thought.	Level 3 The student completes the written assignment in French. Answers are well developed and demonstrate thought has gone into their completion.
