Past tense verbs usage	Poor The imperfect and preterite tense verbs were frequently misused.	Fair The imperfect and preterite tense verbs were often misused.	Good The imperfect and preterite tense verbs were misused only once or twice.	Excellent There were no mistakes in the usage of imperfect and preterite verb tenses.
Effort	Poor The student obviously put little to no effort into the presentation. (The script was not memorized at all.)	Fair The student put minimal effort into the presentation.
