The grammar and spelling are not correct so there are some issues understanding their description	ACCOMPLISHED Student has written a clear and concise description of the art work. They have used the information from the credit line and many details in describing the work.
Analysis	NOT OBSERVED BLANK	BEGINNING The student has attempted to write but it is apparent they do not know what analysis is.	DEVELOPING The student has written an analysis the artwork using very little detail.	PROFICIENT The student has used a several details in writing and analysis this piece of art work. The vocabulary is lacking and it is hard to decipher.	ACCOMPLISHED Student has written a clear and concise Analysis of the art work. The student has used proper art vocabulary making it easy to understand their writing.

DEVELOPING The student has written a short interpretation of what the artist is trying to convey.	PROFICIENT The student has given many ideas of what the art work means. Almost too many so that it is hard to decide if they really understand the work.	ACCOMPLISHED Student has written a clear and concise Interpretation of the art work.They have given a clear direction that they feel the artist was going when making the work. Their argument makes you believe they understand the work.
Judgement	NOT OBSERVED BLANK	BEGINNING The student attempted to write but it is not a judgement of the work of art.	DEVELOPING The student wrote a short judgement but it was purely opinion.	PROFICIENT The student wrote a judgement and it was backed up by at least one thing in previous writing. The also used some purely opinion items.	ACCOMPLISHED Student has written a clear and concise Judgement of the art work. they have been able to back up their opinion with facts they gathered in the other sections of the critique.
