Craftsmanship How well did you make your project?	Poor Arabesque is very sloppy; the pattern is inconsistent or missing; lots of blank areas or faded markers used; work is unfinished. Color doesn't follow the pattern.	Fair Arabesque is sloppy but is finished. Pattern is consistent and simple. Coloring is random; piece is not unified. Color mostly follows the pattern.	Good Arabesque is neatly completed; pattern is consistent and somewhat complex. Patterns match-up well and coloring follows the pattern.	Excellent Arabesque is extremely neatly done; pattern is complex and all sides match-up well. Coloring enhances the pattern and stays within the lines.
Aesthetics How appealing is your work?	Poor Artwork is not at all appealing to the eye; does not draw in the viewer. Is not impressive.	Fair Artwork is somewhat appealing, but does not hold the attention of the viewer; it is not very interesting or impressive. Work seems confused. Evaluate yourself How much effort did you put forth for this project?	Poor I didn't put forth any effort. I didn't finish my project on time and didn't try to work through the difficult parts. I gave up. I am not at all proud of my project.	Fair I put forth a little effort. When something was difficult, I changed my design to be easier instead of sticking with the difficult and complex pattern. I am not very proud of my project.	Good I put forth a reasonable amount of effort. I pushed through the problems and worked hard in class. I completed my work well and I am proud of it.
