Students had to create a composition based on a song or lyric from a song. They had to create a composition that included 15 different areas that were clearly defined from one another. All of the pieces had to relate to the song. Students also had to consider how each space and placement of design within each space related to each other and the whole.

Composition has asymmetry, diagonal, and thirds that properly work on page.

Artwork does have very strong areas that stand out in their excellence.

However, there are other areas that do not work in the art. Instead they are a distraction to the overall piece. These areas were talked about in critique.

Artwork has at least two parts of composition, the colors and textures work relatively well together. But, there are large gaps in artwork that do not contribute to the harmony of the art piece.
Minimally Meeting

The work has random areas that do not connect to the rest of the piece.
Student has areas that need more attention and detail in order to contribute tot the overall unity of the piece.
