Magnetic Levitation Vehicles Students build a magnetic levitation vehicle that will move down the guideway with a electric motor and propeller. Maglev Sled	Poor Student did not complete any part of the maglev chassis.	Fair The maglev chassis may be missing two or more components. The magnets, motor, propeller, or wires.	Good The maglev chassis may be missing one component. The magnets, motor, propeller, or wires.	Excellent Student completed the maglev chassis with magnets, motor, propeller, and wires.
Maglev Body	Poor Student did not complete any part of the maglev body.	Fair Student completed a maglev body. The body was not made using the fablab program. The student did not design a body to enhanced the look of the maglev.	Good Student completed a maglev body. The body was not made using the fablab program. The student designed a body that enhanced the look of the maglev.	Excellent Student completed and attached a maglev body using the fablab model maker program.
Maglev Performance	Poor The maglev vehicle was unable to move any distance on the track.	Fair The maglev vehicle levitated and travelled part of the track and had problems balancing or keeping wires in contact with the track or the vehicle width.	Good The maglev vehicle levitated and travelled the entire length of the track but had problems balancing or keeping wires in contact with the track.	Excellent The maglev vehicle levitated and travelled the entire length of the track without any problems.
