Skit: Decision Making/Choices (Health 6 and 7) Skit: Decision Making (Health 7) Students work in groups to write and perform a skit about decision making and "life skills" The skit must contain 2 scenes: a situation where a poor decision was made and the same situation where a better decision is made. Choices must be clear. A narrator may be used. All members of the groups must have at least 2 complete lines. Content: Situation	Beginning Situation in which decision must be made is somewhat clear. More background information is needed for the viewers to fully understand why choice needs to be made.	Approaching Situation in which decision must be made is clear. Enough background information is given for the viewers to understand the choice to be made.	Meeting Situation in which decision must be made is very clear and detailed, but not too long. Enough information is given to make viewers feel empathy for characters.
Content: Poor Decision	Beginning Poor choice that was made is not very clear. Consequence may be either unrelated to the choice or inappropriate for the situation.	Approaching Poor choice that was made is clear. One consequence of the poor decision is given.	Meeting Poor choice that was made is shown in great detail. Two or more consequences of the poor decision are given.
Content: Better Decision	Beginning Better choice that was made is not very clear. Consequence may be either unrelated to the choice or inappropriate for the situation.	Approaching Better choice made clear. One consequence of the better decision in given.	Meeting Better choice that was made is shown in great detail. Two or more consequences of the better decision are given.
Presentation	Beginning Two complete lines delivered. May be too quiet or too loud. Very little expression in face, body, and voice used.	Approaching At least 2 complete lines delivered with appropriate volume and expression in face, body, and volume.	Meeting More than 2 complete lines given. Volume is varied. Excellent expression in face, body, and voice is used to enhance the character.
