Relevancy	Poor Student did not refer to linked article.	Fair Student made passing but limited references to the article.	Good Student tied his or her summary statement to the article.
Use of information	Poor Student provided no relevant information from the article or plagiarized information from the article.	Fair Student provided some information but the use of the resource was limited.	Good Student provided several key ideas from the article that helped in the summation of the article.
Writing Mechanics	Poor Student displayed 10 or more grammatical errors throughout the summary. Several run-on sentences along with limited vocabulary used. Several misspelled words throughout summary.	Fair Student displayed 5 or less grammatical errors throughout the summary. Occasional run-on sentence. Mild use of vocabulary.
