Subject Knowledge	Below Basic -1 Major inaccuracies or incomplete information. Students read directly from notes or research.	Basic - 2 Few minor inaccuracies. Students referred to notes or research.	Proficient - 3 All material was historically accurate. Students understood their subject matter.	Advanced - 4 All material was historically accurate. Students showed command of subject matter and were experts in their field. Very professional.
Organization	Below Basic -1 It is clear that group in unorganized. Presentation is hard to follow.	Basic - 2 It appears that there is a lack of organization. The presentation is impacted by this.	Proficient - 3 The group seems well organized and it impacts the presentation.	Advanced - 4 Presentation is well organized and flows nicely from one presenter to another. Very professionally organized.
Comprehension	Below Basic -1 The presenters were difficult to understand. They spoke too softly, rushed or did not maintain eye contact throughout the presentation.	Basic - 2 Most of the time presenters were understood. There were period of time when the presenters spoke too softly, rushed or did not maintain eye contact.	Proficient - 3 Presenters were understood. Most of the time they spoke loudly, did not rush and maintained eye contact.	Advanced - 4 Presenters were easily understood. Throughout the presentation, they spoke loudly, did not rush, and maintained eye contact with the audience.
Time Limits	Below Basic -1 Group exceeded or fell short of the 8-10 minute time frame by more than 2 minutes.	Basic - 2 Group exceeded or fell short of the 8-10 minute time frame by 1-2 minutes.
