Pulls out correct numbers. The operation and answer may or may not be correct.	2 Math is attempted, but many of the steps or work shown incorrectly. Can pull out numbers, not sure what to do(no operation).	1 Math is attempted, but the work does not support the answer.Student does not pull out numbers. No operation.
Communicating Mathematical Concepts	4 Student can illustrate the correct equation using variables for the problem.
