x-ray
Poor
Sloppy. Included visual aid, but did not resemble an x-ray. A few plant parts were represented and labeled. Many spelling errors.
Good
Neat. Included visual aid, that remotely resembled an x-ray. Most plant parts were represented and labeled correctly. Few spelling errors.
Super
Very neat. Included visual aid that strongly resembled an x-ray. Each plant part is represented and labeled correctly. No spelling errors.
Diagnosis-oral presentation
Poor
No costume. Report lacked creativity and didn't sound like a doctor talking to a sick patient. Oral report lasted less than 1 minute in length. Included a diagnosis including 1 of the following 3: which plant part is not working, why it is not working, and what needs to be done to fix it. Presentation had many organization problems and may have been hard to hear or understand.
Good
Costume had at least one thing to make you look like a plant doctor. A creative report was given to audience as if they were the sick plant. Report sounded somewhat like a doctor talking to a patient and lasted between 1 and 2 minutes in length. Included a diagnosis including 2 of the following 3: which plant part is not working, why it is not working, and what needs to be done to fix it. Presentation had some organization problems and may have been hard to hear or understand.
Super
Dressed as plant doctor. Very creative report was given to audience as if they were the sick plant. Report sounded like a doctor talking to a patient and lasted 2 to 3 minutes in length. Included a clear diagnosis of which plant part is not working, why it is not working, and what needs to be done to fix it. Presentation was loud and clear so that everyone could hear it.
Classroom Worktime
Poor
Keeping on task was a problem. Several problems following directions and gather materials. Had to ask several times for directions. Had to be told to get back to work several times.
Good
On task most of the time, but had to be reminded to get back to work. A few times, the student was botherin others who were trying to work.
Super
Worktime was spent working on project without bothering others. Students was never off task and was willing to help others if needed.
