Tells the facts but not enough details Sentences need to describe more clearly	Fair Include topic sentence. Paragraphs need more facts and details Paragraphs descriptive
Length & Flow	Excellent AT LEAST three paragraphs long Follows organizational structure Contains transition words (first, next, after, then)	Good Has three paragraphs Needs clear organization Contains a transition word	Fair Has less than three paragraphs Facts and details need organized No transition words
