Following instructions	Poor Did not follow instruction. Either more or less than 6 panels, and/or no dialogue, and/or no color, or is not a myth story.	Fair Followed some instruction but missing a key component, either six panels, dialogue, color, or story is not about an animal's uniqueness.	Good Followed all but instructions but has a minor detail (noted to the side) that student knew was not part of the instructions (or should have asked).	Excellent Followed all instructions given.
Ideas and originality	Poor The story is not about how something unique came to be on an animal, or a particular behavior of an animal. Obviously copied from another myth story.	Fair There is a story, but it's not a myth story and/or is copied with (or from) a friend and barely changed from that story. Not original.	Good The ideas are original, but they are not followed through to a logical conclusion as well as they could be.	Excellent Original, fresh, creative ideas and a very good myth story about the animal's uniqueness.
Presentation	Poor Seems there was no care taken in the neatness of the work. Unreadable text. Drawing and/or coloring looks purposely careless. Misspelled words and grammar mistakes.	Fair This paper could be neater in all areas. Text is difficult to read or too small, and drawings and coloring could be neater. Language mistakes. The work looks like it was done too quickly.	Good Most of the storyboard is neat, but an area or two should be neater. There are two or more grammar or language mistakes.	Excellent Neat text of good size and read easily. One or no garmmar or language mistakes. Drawing and coloring done with care.
