Pick a Poem DUE April 23 
Each child is to choose one poem to recite to the class. A copy of the poem must be turned in or the child will not receive credit. Students must be able to answer: reasons why the poem was chosen, the tone, the characters, etc.

Poem is read void of feeling and emotion. Several words are mispronounced.
Unsatisfactory

Did not recite a poem and/or a copy of the poem was not turned in.
Reasons for Poem Choice

Outstanding

All questions were answered with complete sentences and lots of thought. Wow! Great poem choice.
Good

Most questions were answered.
Not so much

Student could not answer most of the questions about his/her poem.
Unsatisfactory

Could not give any answers about poem choice.
