Pick a Poem DUE April 23 Pick a Poem DUE FEB 27 Each child is to choose one poem to recite to the class. A copy of the poem must be turned in or the child will not receive credit. 	Outstanding 50 pts	Good 45 pts	Not so much 40 pts	Unsatisfactory 0 pts
Reciting Poem in Class	Outstanding Poem is recited with feeling and emotion. Child could pronounce all words. Child used a loud clear voice.	Good Poem is recited clearly but not loudly. Child pronounces most words. A lack of emotion was evident.	Not so much Poem is read void of feeling and emotion. Several words are mispronounced.	Unsatisfactory Did not recite a poem and/or a copy of the poem was not turned in.
Reasons for Poem Choice	Outstanding All questions were answered with complete sentences and lots of thought. Wow! Great poem choice.	Good Most questions were answered.	Not so much Student could not answer most of the questions about his/her poem.	Unsatisfactory Could not give any answers about poem choice.
