Length	Excellent Portfolio contains at least one element from every subunit covered in the year long course	Good Portfolio contains at least one element from every subunit except one covered in the year long course	Fair Portfolio contains at least one element from every subunit except two covered in the year long course	Poor Portfolio does not contain at least one element from every subunit except no more than two covered in the year long course
Multiple Styles	Excellent Portfolio has a balance of various learning styles including compositions, worksheets, drawings, songs, videos, slide shows, and photos	Good Portfolio contains various learning styles including compositions, worksheets, drawings, songs, videos, slide shows, and photos but does not have a balance	Fair Portfolio contains all but one or two of the following activities: compositions, worksheets, drawings, songs, videos, slide shows, and photos but does not have a balance	Poor Portfolio is missing more than two of the following activities: compositions, worksheets, drawings, songs, videos, slide shows, and photos but does not have a balance

Potential	Excellent Portfolio accurately represents student's capacity and potential and demonstrates diligence and responsibility.	Good Portfolio represents student's capacity and potential but demonstrates a slight lack of diligence and responsibility.	Fair Portfolio represents a desire by the student to simply complete a portfolio that includes the requirements but does not represent the students best abilities.	Poor Portfolio does not represent the students potential or capacity.
