Final Art Project 
Students will use their choice of medium for their final project by using their choice of drawing, painting, sculpting, or collage to illustrate self expression and an understanding of the elements and principles of design.

The student could explain how and why they made the decision to create the piece in the way it was completed.

The student was able to articulate one or more of the influences that inspired the piece.

The student did not use any elements or principles to critique their artwork.
Fair

The student wrote the critique but did not elaborate or show an understanding of the art criticism process.
Good

The student showed above average skill in critiquing their work and showed what they have learned about the elements and principles of design.
Outstanding

The student wrote an excellent critique of the work which incorporated the elements and principles of design and showed what they have learned about art criticism in detail.
