Special Occasion Up-Do's Special Occasion Up-Do's Students are given 5 days to prep the hair and execute a "Special Occasion" style using up-do techniques. Rubric Code: C235C3C By Salongossip Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Arts and Design Type: Project Grade Levels: 9-12

	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Un-acceptable 1 pts
Completion	Excellent Style was completed within time allotted.	Good Style was more than 50% completed.	Fair Style is less than 50% completed.	Un-acceptable Style was barely attempted.
Technique	Excellent Hair was prepped and up-do techniques were used to create design.	Good Hair was not prepped properly, but proper techniques were used.	Fair Hair was prepped, but no up-do techniques were used.	Un-acceptable Hair was styled but not with up-do techniques.
Neatness	Excellent Style is cleanly styled, precise, and very few stray hairs. Minimal hair-pins and/or elastic bands showing.	Good Style is mostly clean and precise, but with a good amount of loose hair strands or hair pins and/or elastic bands showing.	Fair Style is not finished-looking, and appears messy or 'stuck' together. Excessive loose hair and/or hair pins, elastic bands showing.	Un-acceptable Style is very messy and design is unclear.
Effort	Excellent Student put great effort into their design and its excecution, and remained 'on task' throughout assignment period.	Good Student put in moderate effort, and remained mostly 'on task' throughout assignment period.	Fair Student put in little effort, and was often 'off task' throughout assignment period.	Un-acceptable No effort was apparent, and student was rarely 'on task' throughout assignment period
