Visual display and presentation rubric - Government 
Each team will determine an idea that they would like see become a law for High Schools in Illinois. Create a Poster that is a visual representation of your bill that would act as an Ad. Create a presentation script with your research to be used to persuade your peers to vote for your bill.

The display includes all information on the topic in an organized fashion.
Information is presented clearly and displays references to the presentation materials on Google Classroom.
Good

The students present the information fairly clearly and display a reason-able understanding of information. Most information is factually correct. Information is somewhat organized.
Fair

Does not have all of the relevant information on the display. There is not enough information presented. Information is not well organized. Information contains several factual errors.
Poor

Does not have relevant information. Informa-
tion is unorganized.
Work effort (Individual)

Excellent

The work was done well to the best of the your ability. Quality time and effort was put into the presentation. You feel that you contributed equally to your group in communication and collaboration.
Good

The work was done with good effort that shows what you are capable of. It is evident that time was put into this display and presentation. You put forth relatively equal amount to the presentation materials.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or done with lack of effort.
Poor

Lack of effort on your part. Work is incomplete. You cannot pin point the work you contributed to the group. .
Verbal Presentation

Excellent

The display has creativity and is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject. Written in your own words - and your participated equally to your peers in the production of the presentation.
Good

The display is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good clear presentation. Mostly written in your own words.
Fair

The presentation lacks style and professionalism - reads more like a list of facts. Somewhat written in your own words.
Poor

The display is not written in your own words. Lack of creativity. You cannot specify what information you contributed to the group.
Grammar/Capitalization

Excellent

Writer has completely correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. No missing words. Proper nouns are capitalized.
Good

Writer has all correct spelling, punctuation and mostly correct grammar. Few missing words.
Fair

Writing has mostly correct spelling punctuation, and grammar, some missing words.
Poor

Writer has some correct spelling, punctuation, or grammar. You did not participate in writing the poster or the script for the presentation.
Reflection

Excellent

You led the group in preparing and completing the presentation within the time frame allowed.
Good

You accepted the role you were given and completed your portion of the presentation within the time frame allowed.
Fair

You were given a role in your group but did not actively complete your role and required another team member to complete your work.
Poor

You did not participate in the presentation - due to attendance or lack of effort.
