Very creative. The infographic is visually stimulating and is seen as eye catching, making the viewer want to look at it.
Meets Expectations

The infographic has some hints of creativity. The viewer notices areas of outside of the box thinking.
Needs Improvement

Little to no thought was given to the appearance of the infographic. No "outside of the box" thinking was applied.
Use of tools

Exceeds Expectations

Student chose the right Web 2.0 tool for their topic and used what the site had to offer to their benefit.
Meets Expectations

Tool was used well but the student could have picked a better option. It was not clear the designer investigate their options. Final product looked similar to other students' final product therefore showcasing that the designer did not do anything special.
Needs Improvement

Web 2.0 tool chosen did not assist in the design at all and actually made the infographic even more confusing.
Data representations

Exceeds Expectations

All data & graphics are detailed and make logical sense to the audience. There are no errors and the point is clear. Infographic is effective.
Meets Expectations

The data & graphics are lacking in detail and make very little sense when the audience is looking at the graphic. It is hard to see what the designer was trying to get across.
Needs Improvement

The data & graphics are incomplete and do not support any point the designer was trying to make. There is also a lack of statistical data and it is incorrect and off.
Works Cited

Exceeds Expectations

Student used 2+ and all are cited and legitimate.
Meets Expectations

Student uses more than 1 source. Quality of sources is iffy showing student did not do appropriate research.

Quality of single source is poor. Most/all sources not cited.

Exceeds Expectations

Layout/neatness takes the viewer through the infographic in an efficient and effective way. The flow contributes to the understanding of the data, allowing connections to be made. All data is presented clearly.
Meets Expectations

Layout/neatness does not always flow smoothly, disrupting the processing of information. There is a general neatness, however, some areas are distracting.
