Black History Newspaper Portrait Collage Self- portrait Collage Create a newspaper collage of a prominent African American that played role in African American History. The collage should be mounted on white card stock paper. You will show the changing values in face of the person you chose for your collage using various shade of newspaper. Neatness/Craftsmanship	Poor Little observable care was taken in the display of the images, how they are cut out and placed on the paper.	Fair Some care was taken in the display of the images, how they are cut out and placed on the paper.	Good-Excellant Great care was taken in the display of the images, how they are cut out and placed on the paper - creating a pleasing image overall.
Creative Problem Solving	Poor Student exhibited little to creative problem solving, ideas were copied and no planning seemed involved.	Fair Student exhibited some creative problem solving skills.	Good-Excellant Student executed project with unique and orginal ideas.
Work in Class	Poor Student was often off task and had to be reminded often to focus.	Fair Student was focused most of the time. May have had to reminded to stay on task.	Good-Excellant Student was focused 95-100% of the time in class. Did not need to reminded to focus or to get to work.
