Basic design balances and good flow to all sides. All parts create unity.

Outstanding form and flow from all sides.
CREATIVE
Student went above and beyond. Flow from mouth to foot of both bowls is excellent and the uniqueness and design are distinctive and set apart form the rest of the class.

Project has glazing defiencies such as
too thick or too thin application, drips, uneven coverage.
Bisque showing through in parts. Too much color experimentation with out thought to color and design.

Thought given to the glazing process. Enhanced textures, even coat -Use of color theory...such as analogous, neutrals complementary colors are evident...Good overall coverage.
Excellent
Outstanding Glaze. Creative...thought given to enhancing the form and texture ...set apart from the rest. Outstanding color work and knowledge of color theory is evident.
Studio Participation
Minimal
Minimal participation. Unprepared and did not clean up his/her work area.
Needs Improvement
Student does a fair job of of setting up for project at the beginning of class, but still needs to be reminded of what is needed for project. Student does a fair job of cleaning, but still leaves 30% of work in his/her area for others to deal with.
Good
Student does a good job of setting up. Does not waste time and devotes 100% of his/her time to clean up as well.
Excellent
Student is efficient and organized in setting up for assignment. Goes above and beyond in this category assisting and initiating peers to get started and clean up. Scans studio before leaving to see if anything has been left out for the next class.
