New Technology Project New Technology Project Students will identify a problem and attempt to solve it by creating a new technology. They will present written information in the format of their choice. Capable Inventor The students created a new product, but there are already products out there that do the same thing.<BR> <BR> The idea is attractive, but predictable.	Amateur Inventor The students' invention is slighty similar to products which already exists.
Intended Use What will invention do? What will people use it for?	Expert Inventor Clear, detailed and in-depth explanation of how the invention will be used and how it will work.	Skillful Inventor Detailed explanation of how the invention will be used and how it will work.	Capable Inventor Explanation of how the invention will be used and how it will work.	Amateur Inventor Unclear and/or vague explanation of how the invention will be used and how it will work.
Visual Representation Drawing, model, sketch etc...	Expert Inventor Elaborate and attractive representation with clearly labelled parts.	Skillful Inventor Attractive with clearly labelled parts.
