Stepping Routine

Beat	4 The beat is constant throughout routine. Everyone stays on beat.	3 The beat is something everyone proves they can stay with. No one looks lost.	2 *One person is off beat or one person dominates the group performance.	1 *Too many members off beat. There are no elements of unity.
Body Movements	4 All members are together in their movements. No one needs to look at another to remember the moves.	3 Use of feet and hands together, consistently. Occasionally, one group member looks at rest of the group to remember moves.	2 *Use of feet and hands but not together. One half of the body is still while other half is moving.	1 *Use of feet or hands only.
Spacing	4 Polished, everyone uses space well with several position changes. Quick recovery if someone misses a step.	3 Moves well in the space given. Moves as one group, complimenting each other in motion. *Balanced, centered in the space and equal distance to each other.	2 Moves too far away from one another. Looks like several individuals rather than one fluid group. *Moving but not balanced in the space.	1 Lacks any use of space given. Lacks fluid combination of steps being linked together. Very choppy.
