3rd Grade Task 1 Dinosaurs at the Museum ELACC.3.W.7 Conduct short research projects that build knowledge about a topic. Students were expected to gather information about spiders from a book and from talking with a general education teacher. Students were to take notes and then use those notes to present the information they learned. Note Cards Students include at least 5 facts.	Poor Note cards are present and include 1 or fewer facts about spiders.	Fair Note cards present and include 2-4 facts about spiders.	Good Note cards present and include 5 or more facts about spiders.
Oral Presentation of Facts Students orally present facts learned to teachers and peers.	Poor Stated 2 or fewer facts.	Fair Stated 3-4 facts.	Good Stated 5 or more facts.
