Vocabulary

Poor

Student uses 0-3 new vocabulary words or uses other words inappropriately. Evidence that external resources were not used (dictionaries).
Fair

Student uses 3-5 new vocabulary words in their presentation. There is evidence that the student has tried to extend and build their vocabulary by using dictionaries or other resources.
Good

Student uses 5-10 new vocabulary words correctly. Evidence of using proper resources to extend vocabulary is apparent.
Grammar

Poor

Grammar has many elementary issues, grammar point (subjunctive) is not used, or evidence of using google translate is apparent.
Fair

Grammar has some errors that are elementary, but evidence of effort is demonstrated. Also, student attempts to use the subjunctive tense.
Good

Grammar has few errors and demonstrates mastery or understanding of the subjunctive tense. (Must use at least 3 times throughout.) Effort in using grammar is demonstrated.
Visual aspect

Poor

no visual aspects to appreciate.

Work is sloppy without much effort.
Fair

visual aids are limited (1-2) and are not relevant to the assignment.

Student shows effort in making their presentation nice.
Good

visual aids are included (3+) and pertain to information in the artifact. Effort is clearly demonstrated.
