Materials	Poor Student had very little evidence and materials to represent their growth as a speaker. The lack of work makes it hard for one to assess if growth has or has not occurred.	Good Student has an adequate amount of evidence and materials to represent their growth as a speaker. The amount of work makes it possible for one to assess if growth has or has not occurred.	Excellent Student has an excellent amount of evidence and materials to represent their growth as a speaker. The amount of work makes it easy for one to assess if growth has or has not occurred.
Creativity & Neatness	Poor Student's portfolio lacked any amount of creativity or neatness. Pages were wrinkled or torn. There were little to no organization of the materials. It was lacking in color and did not seem as if much effort was put into it.	Good Student's portfolio was somewhat creative & neatness. The materials were overall organized with a few things out of order or missing. It was somewhat colorful and it was apparent some thought was put into it.	Excellent Student's portfolio was very creative & neat. The materials were organized and materials were meticulous. It was colorful and it was apparent a lot of thought was put into it.
After Thought	Poor Student either did not include an after thought paragraph or it was lacking in information that pertained to the class. Student did not invest much time or thought into it.	Good Student's after thought paragraph was lacking a little information that pertained to the class. Student put a little time & thought into it.	Excellent Student's after thought paragraph was a perfect ending to the portfolio. It was clear that the student put a ton of time & thought into it. Wonderful job!
