Student answers each step of the scientific method completely and accurately.
Good:
Student answers each step of the scientific method fairly well and accurately.
Fair:
Students partially answers each step of the scientific method, with some inaccurate details.
Poor:
Required work is incomplete and inaccurate.

Excellent:
A clear and well drawn picture of the experiment was included. Picture is carefully and neatly drawn and coloured.
Good:
A picture of the experiment was included. Picture is drawn relatively neatly and is coloured.
Fair:
The picture is included. It is messy and not coloured.
Poor:
No picture is included.
Conclusions
Excellent:
Clear and concise CONCLUSIONS are given. Conclusion addresses problem and states KNOWLEDGE GAINED.
Good:
Conclusions are present and complete, knowledge gained is present, but not clear and concise.
Fair:
Missing some parts of conclusion or knowledge gained.
Poor:
Missing conclusion completely, or it is inaccurate.
Presentation
Excellent:
The student can explain the experiment and the explanation fits with the purpose of the experiment.
Good:
The student can explain the experiment, but the explanation doesn't exactly fit with the purpose.
Fair:
The student can partially explain the experiment. The explanation doesn't fit the purpose.
Poor:
The presentation of the experiment was confusing. The student didn't really understand the purpose.
