Presentation Format	Unacceptable Student did not have a visual aid at all to accompany oral presentation.	Fair Student visual aid met the minimum requirements for presentation.<BR> ( Poster Board - minimal pictures/ examples; no color)	Good Student visual aid met the all requirements for presentation, but was hard to see or hard to read.	Excellent Student work was well put together with many extras included. (Colored picture, vibrant colors, large title, easy to read and understand, full of information)
Written / Presentation Content	Unacceptable Student was unable to submit any written research and/or presentation.	Fair Student was able to submit the written research packet and/or presentation, but with parts missing from one, the other, or both.	Good Student was able to submit the written research packet and/or presentation, but some information was inaccurate or incorrectly done.	Excellent Student submitted all required information for research, and all components were present in both presentation and packet.
Creativity	Unacceptable Student was unable to submit any written research and/or presentation.	Fair The student did not use a creative approach in creating a unique plant or animal.	Good Significant thought and effort was evident in both the the student's animal and presentation, in terms of originality and creativity	Excellent Student product was overly creative and met all expectations and requirements for this project. This animal could exist today!
Overall Presentation	Unacceptable Student was unable to submit any written research and/or presentation.	Fair Student was hard to hear; spoke to slow, too fast, or not at all.	Good Student was easy to hear, but hard to understand. Student spoke to slow or too fast.	Excellent Student was both easy to hear and easy to understand.
