	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Use of fingertips	Poor Slaps the ball in an erratic fashion.	Fair Uses a combination of fingertips and the palm of the hand. Usually uses fingertips, but occasionally uses the palm of hand.	Good Uses the fingertips exclusively.
Knees bent	Poor Stands upright	Fair Knees are slightly bent, but occassionally standing up.	Good The students knees are bent all of the time while dribbling.
Ball kept below the waist	Poor Ball is dribbled up high and not in control. Frequently loses the ball.	Fair Ball is sometimes dribbled below the waist with occasional dribbling above the waist. Student has control of ball most of the time.	Good Ball is dribbled below the waist in a controlled fashion.
Keep head up while dribbling	Poor Student is looking at the ball or the student is not paying attention to dribbling.	Fair Students head is down looking at the ball most of the time and/or the student's head is up, most of the time.	Good Student's head is up all the time and the student has complete control of the ball.
