Written Description Uses the elements and principles of design to describe the project and the students process.	Fair Discusses 3 -4 ideas, revelations or changes in their design.	Good Discusses 6 - 8 revelations or changes in their design.	Excellent Discusses more than 10 ideas, revelations or changes in their design.
Visual Aids Provide photographs and or sketches that illustrate the process as well as the finished project.	Fair Provides few visuals, such as magazine clippings, for the project.	Good Provides a detailed sketch and photograph of concepts that they would like to include in their final project.	Excellent Provides several detailed sketches of the process as well as the numerous pictures, magazine clippings, internet details. Photographs may be included.
Self Evaluation Highlights and assesses the pros and cons of the project.	Fair Talks about one pro and one con of the project.	Good Writes about 2-3 struggles as well as 2-3 triumphs.	Excellent Recognizes personal strengths and weaknesses, gives a fair and honest critique of their work.
