Transformations Transformations Student is to draw one of their initals in one quadrant of the coordinate plane and then use at least three of the four different transformations to move the figure to the other quadrants. The student is to explain what transformation was done, and how they did it. They are to label all the coordinates on the diagram on all four initials. Then they are to creatively decorate the inital using colored pencils, markers or any other artistic medium. They will attach a word document for their descriptions. Meeting standards Explanation of how the transformations were done is included but has some mistakes. Neatness	Exceeding the standards Work is neat. All lines are straight. Figures are drawn neatly.	Meeting standards Work is neat, most lines are straight.	Approaching standards Lines are not drawn straight, work is not in each quadrant.	Below standard Sloppy, lines are not straight, eraser marks are visible (if done on paper and scanned).
Creativity	Exceeding the standards Excellent work- original ideas good use of colors .	Meeting standards Good ideas. Colored with more than one color, gave some thought to it.
